Welcome to Research and Innovation at IT Sligo. The Institute has an important role in driving economic and social development in the North West of Ireland. Relevant, effective Research and Innovation is a key element of this. This is a change.

IT Sligo’s Strategic Plan, A Strategy for Change – Building for the Future, sets out the five Strategic Priorities of the Institute. All of these priorities link to Research and Innovation, in support of teaching and learning, infrastructural development and regional development.

The Research and Innovation area in particular is described in the Research and Innovation Strategy which sets out how we will achieve our stated objectives. It is focused on supporting a vibrant and sustainable Research and Innovation community at IT Sligo.
