Ms Julia Powers
Julia is a recent honours graduate from IT Sligo and was employed by RTRI in Western Australia as a part time Research Assistant in Bioelectromagnetics in the MBRR group
Ms Aishling Timoney
Aishling is a recent graduate from IT Sligo and was employed by RTRI in Western Australia as a part time Research Assistant in Bioelectromagnetics in the MBRR group
Ms Sandra Gannon
Sandra is a PhD student registered at DIT and is developing novel drug conjugates as potential anti-tumour agents. She was on placement in MBRR for 6 months during 2011 and plans to graduate from DIT in 2012 with a PhD in Chemistry.
Mr James Murray
James joined the group on a research placement position in the summer of 2011 and will complete his Honours Degree in Medical Biotechnology in 2011 in IT Sligo.
Mr Carlos Cabrera
Carlos joined the group on a research placement position in the summer of 2011 and will complete his Honours Degree in Medical Biotechnology in 2011 in IT Sligo.

Ms Janis Kelly
Janis was a visiting researcher from University College London and volunteered to join the MBRR for a short time to broaden her research experience in Radiation Biology. She has since graduated from UCL with a Masters in Radiation Biology and is keen to continue research towards a PhD qualification in the future
Dr Luciene Zanchetta
Luciene was a PhD researcher at MBRR and her PhD thesis was titled ‘Natural Sunlight Damage to Human Skin Mitochondria, its Early Detection, Characterisation and Progression’, a project funded by Science Foundation Ireland – Research Frontiers Program (SFI 06 RFP BIC006). Luciene defended her thesis in early 2011, and then went on to take up a research position in Columbia University, New York City and has since moved on to Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York City.
Ms Elizabeth Doherty
Liz joined the group on a research placement position in the summer of 2010 and will complete an Honours Degree in Forensic Investigation and Analysis in 2011 in IT Sligo.

Mr Thomas Conroy
Tom joined the group on a research placement position in the summer of 2010 and will complete his Honours Degree in Forensic Investigation and Analysis in 2011 in IT Sligo.

Ms Kajsa Yngvesson
Kajsa joined the group in 2008 as an MSc research student. She left in June 2010 to return to employment in her native Sweden.
Ms Clodagh Kivlehan
Clodagh joined the group in 2009, after being awarded a 1st Class Honours in Biochemistry from NUI Galway, to gain some research experience. She left in May 2010 to join Beckman, Ireland as an R and D Biochemist.
