Careers Officers are available throughout the calendar year to offer students & graduates of IT Sligo advice, help and support in relation to future progression. Our services include:

  • Daily one to one appointments
  • Weekly CV clinics/drop in sessions
  • Regular delivery of class talks/presentations (topic areas to include: Generating Awareness of Progression Options, Job Seeking Skills, Personal Statement Advice, Study Skills.)
  • Regular hosting of outside speakers
  • Weekly posting of vacancies/progression opportunities

Students & Graduates

IT Sligo students/graduates please register to access the IT Sligo Careers Office Portal, to book a careers guidance appointment, slot at our weekly CV Clinic, to book your place for a series of careers talks offered throughout the calendar year and to view job vacancies that are notified to the IT Sligo Careers Office.

The Connacht & Ulster Higher Education Virtual Careers Fair

The Connacht-Ulster Higher Education Virtual Careers Fair, facilitates liaison between employers and students in a virtual exhibition hall. This innovation is brought to you by GMIT, IT Sligo & Letterkenny IT and is sponsored by Collins McNicholas, the region’s largest employment agency. A virtual careers fair operates in the same way to a normal fair, however it can be accessed from any web enabled devise at any time of the day or night. Don’t miss out, register today to actively engage in this event which is live between 17th November and 19th December.
