Evidence suggests that fine art graduates enter a very broad range of careers. Only a small number become practicing artists on a full time basis and most of these continue studying either full-time or part-time. Some enter directly related work such as arts administration, museum and gallery work, or art teaching. However, many fine artists take up part-time teaching in further or higher education, often to support their practice. Some fine art graduates enter other art and design careers in the longer term and may become graphic designers, illustrators or work in fashion and textiles.

DEGREE ?
There are two main groups of employers for graduates of Industrial design. You could follow a career in a manufacturing company with their own in-house design department or a design consultancy. Manufacturing companies, particularly those with a strong bias towards the engineering aspects of design, range from aircraft and car manufacturers through to household appliances, computer and telephone exteriors and hi-fi equipment manufacturers. Design consultancies are normally small firms employing up to about six designers. They work for individuals who want to develop a new product idea and for major manufacturers, designing new products or improving existing products.
