4:  When do I start in IT Sligo?

There is a special orientation week arranged for new first year students. This usually takes place during the first week of September.

Orientation week helps you get your bearings around campus and settle in before the thousands of other students come back from their summer break. During the week you will be introduced to the various facilities and supports available on campus, in addition to entertainment being organised all week by the Students’ Union.

5:  When do lectures commence?
Lectures commence the week following orientation week (usually the second week of September), don’t be late!

6:  When can I register as a student?
Should you receive an offer of a place in IT Sligo and accept it, you will receive information in late August. Registration for first year students takes place in early September (you will receive all the information you need regarding registration in your ‘New Student Pack’ in late August).
