Henry called into the college after securing the world title on home ground in Co Mayo recently. The final was held in the TF in Castlebar and former Business Student and Geesala native, Henry, secured the world title in a fight against Italian boxer Elio Cotena.
When studying business at IT Sligo, Henry was one of the founding members of the Institute’s boxing club, which in the last year alone has seen two students (Maria Faney and John Tighe) take home prestigious national titles.
