The Women’s Soccer Colleges Association of Ireland National Futsal finals will be hosted at IT Sligo’s Knocknarea Arena this Friday.
Teams from IT Sligo, DCU, UCC, Mary Immaculate College and Inchicore College of Further Education will compete in the competition.
The 5 teams taking part have come through their regional competitions to take their place at the finals. The teams will play each other once with the top 2 teams facing off in the final.
The winning team will go on to take part in the European championships in Spain in July.
Women’s Futsal is the fastest growing area in college football and this tournament will pit the top student footballers against each other in what should be a top class day of Futsal.
This is the first time that the competition has been hosted by IT Sligo and all support is welcome.
