Approximately 200 students are expected to attend induction Days for Online Distance Learners at IT Sligo this Thursday and Friday, 16th & 17th September in Sligo’s Clarion Hotel, located adjacent to the Institute.
Students will receive training on the online learning system (MOODLE), information on examinations, IT Support, Library services and how to access their lectures. They will also have the opportunity to meet their course lecturers and ask any questions they may have on each module.
For the first time students from the MSc / Postgrad Dip in Biopharmaceutical Science programme will join the induction this year.
IT Sligo is now the largest online engineering college in Ireland and has registered students from all over Ireland including Cork, Dublin, Waterford.
