You are invited to the ‘Strategies for a Sustainable Future’ event at ATU Sligo campus on February 16th at 15:15 in our main auditorium B1094. With a focus on Environmental, Social and Governance, this is a unique opportunity for staff and students of ATU to hear from the Chairman of a large global public limited company. The event is in collaboration with Chartered Accountants North West and we look forward to welcoming members from CANW and the incoming President for Chartered Accountants Ireland Sinead Donovan.

Donard Gaynor

Donard Gaynor has been Chairman of Glanbia plc since 2020, having served on the board since 2013. He has deep experience in the food and beverage industry, serving as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development for Beam, Inc., the premium spirits company. A Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Donard joined Beam, Inc. in 2003. Prior to this, he served in a variety of senior executive leadership roles with The Seagram Spirits & Wine Group in New York and spent 15 years with PwC in the US and Ireland. He supports a range of organisation in a non-executive and not-for-profit capacity. Originally from Sligo, he is an alumnus of Summerhill College Sligo and ATU and lives in the US with his family, travelling regularly back to Ireland.
