Dr Keith Hopper is a
native of Sligo town. He taught Literature & Film
Studies at Oxford Universitys Department for Continuing Education for over
twenty years, and currently teaches Writing &
Literature at the Institute
of Technology, Sligo.
Keith
has a BA and MA in English Literature from NUI
Galway; an MSt in Research Methods and a DPhil in English Literature from the
University of Oxford; and an MA in Digital Humanities from
Kings College London. He
has held research fellowships at St Cross College, Oxford, and at St Marys
University, London.
Keith has written
essays and reviews for the New Statesman
and the Irish Times, and is a regular
contributor to the Times Literary
Supplement. He is currently writing a book on poetry
and the sense of place in the digital age.
