Jools Holland, Rufus Wrainwright and The Waterboys will be among the headline acts performing at IT Sligo’s Knocknarea Arena as part of the Sligo Live Folk, Roots and Indie festival this weekend.
The festival, which is now into its eleventh year has a stellar line-up of acts.
French-Canadian singer Rufus Wrainwright will play the Knocknarea Arena on Friday night, October 23rd at 8pm.
Mike Scott and The Waterboys take to the stage on Saturday 24th with support from Dublin experimental collective, The Jimmy Cake.
The festival will finish on a high on Sunday night (25th) when Jools Holland and his 20-piece Rhythm & Blues Orchestra perform live to a sell-out crowd at the Institute’s Knocknarea Arena.
Apart from the strong headline acts, Sligo Live prides itsefl on providing family-friendly free gigs and traditional music seasons across the town.
Sligo Live 2015 runs from October 21st to 26th.
