Online Induction 2016/17 for IT Sligo’s new distance learning students takes place at the Institute’s Knocknarea Arena this Friday, September 9th, from 9am.
Of IT Sligo’s 6000 students, 2000 of them study online. The Institute has been the recognised national leader in digital education since 2002.
Registration this Friday opens from 8:45am when students will have an opportunity to meet informally with programme coordinators, course leaders and fellow students.
The programme of events for induction day will provide all the key information, from technology demonstrations to a rundown on the range of Institute support services available to online students.
There will also be breakout sessions during the day where students will get an overview of their respective programme modules.
Online Induction at IT Sligo begins on Friday, September 9th, in the Knocknarea Arena at 9am.
