Creative Design Award for Ultan

Ultan Rooney, year 3 Creative Design student was commended at the annual Orengebox/W2W Student Design Award ceremony in Dublin recently.

Ultan made a shortlist of 16, from a record number of entries with well in excess of 100 submissions from across Ireland and for the U.K.

The third year student at IT Sligo designed a user centred product which addresses the needs of the modern ‘nomadic’ worker.  His achievement significantly ranks IT Sligo among universities both nationally and internationally.
