Performing Arts shows open to the public

Students studying Performing Arts are staging a number of shows in the IT Sligo Black Box venue over the coming week.

The shows are open to members of the public and most are free to attend, with a small number requiring a donation of €2 in aid of the Samaritans.  

Details of the shows being staged are below:

  • December 2nd, 3pm –  Acting Scenes from The Tiger by Murray Schisgal and Our Town by Thornton Wilder. Directed by Agnes Pallai.
  • December 6th, 3pm –Animal Farm by George Orwell. Directed by Agnes Pallai.
  • December 8th, 1pm – Ancient Mariner. Directed by Bernie Meehan.
  • December 8th, 6pm – The House of Bernarda Alba, by Federico Garcia Lorca. Directed by Agnes Pallai.
  • December 9th, 1pm – Scenes Audition Show. Directed by Agnes Pallai.
  • Monday, December 13th,  1pm & 7pm – Woyczek by Georg Buchner. Directed by Declan Drohan.
  • Tuesday, December 14th at 11.30am – Solo Audition Show. Directed by Declan Drohan
  • Tuesday, December 14th, 1pm –   Woyczek by Georg Buchner. Directed by Declan Drohan.
  • Thursday, December 16th, 1pm – Costume Gig. Directed by Jo Conway.
