ASIST Suicide Prevention Training for students & staff

Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) training is on Thursday, 9 March and Friday, 10 March 2023 from 9am-5pm in room G1030, ATU Sligo.  

ASIST is a two-day intensive, interactive and practice-dominated course designed to help caregivers recognise risk and learn how to intervene to prevent the immediate risk of suicide. This training is suitable for anyone, aged 18 years of age or over – professionals, volunteers, people responding to family, friends and co-workers.
