Induction Day for Autistic Students

ATU Sligo offers incoming autistic students the opportunity to attend a smaller, supplementary, induction day to help them prepare to begin their studies here.  This Autism Friendly event takes place in a smaller venue (such as a classroom) in advance of other induction events, when the campus is quieter and less crowded than usual.

Students will be able to familiarise themselves with the campus, meet staff from the disability service, the library, and other support services, learn about social groups and clubs, ask questions, and receive guidance on essentials such as their student email account and our Moodle learning platform.
