More than 1,600 second level students from across the country visited IT Sligo for the Open Day yesterday.
The Institute was buzzing from 10am yesterday morning with students arriving in bus loads with their teachers to be greeted by IT Sligo staff and students keen to show them around and speak to them about courses available at the Institute.
Prospective students attended workshops and spoke with lecturers at the various display stands across the Institute , and tours were provided of the new three-floor Yeats Library.

The Main Concourse was full all day from 10am to 3pm with visiting prospective students and their teachers.
