Students of Performing Arts at IT Sligo will host a workshop this Saturday March 31st for secondary school students studying Shakespeare’s Hamlet for the Leaving Certificate.
The workshop is designed to help students explore the play’s creatively and to discuss and share ideas and to plan and enact responses. Students will work in teams exploring the play’s themes, characters and images, creatively and through different media.
The workshop is a fun and interactive way of learning. Participants won’t be sitting down taking notes; they will be actively building images and connections, playing quotation games and teaching others.
This is the fifth year Performing Arts have offered the workshops for Leaving Certificate students.
