Innovation Centre Company in National Final

A company based in the IT Sligo Innovation Centre, Verus Precision Ltd., has been chosen to represent the Sligo County Enterprise Board in the National Enterprise Awards Competition. 

The National Enterprise Awards is a competition organised by the 35 County and City Enterprise Boards nationwide to recognise and promote excellence in micro-business. 

Verus Precision Ltd. will now go on to the final of the National Enterprise Awards, which is being held in the Shelbourne Hotel, Dublin, on November 11th.

Operating from the Innovation Centre in IT Sligo, Verus Precision Ltd. offers high-quality services to its clients in the areas of Metrology, Calibration, Product design and Moldflow analysis, or injection moulding optimisation. 

 The range of services the company offers appeals to businesses operating in a wide range of categories including the medical, pharmaceutical, closures and packaging, automotive, aerospace and consumer areas.  It counts market-leading companies in Ireland, the UK and the USA in its burgeoning client base. 

Verus Precision Ltd. was founded in 2008 and has 5 full-time staff.  It is currently recruiting for another member of staff. 

Recent developments in the product design field at the Company include securing approval from Apple for the “Made for iPod, Made for iPad and Made for iPhone” technology licence which allows Verus Precision Ltd. to design and develop products and services for these Apple products, and to use the Apple “Made for iPod/iPad/iPhone” logos on these products.
