Online learning courses are designed for students who want to study part-time and at a pace that matches their work life balance. Through a combination of online delivery technologies such as web- casting of live lectures and access to high quality recordings, IT Sligo has established itself as a national leader in online learning.
‘’The online lecture delivery of this course was very user-friendly and facilitated my participation in this course which was being delivered on the other side of the country,” said Waterford-based Sorcha Byrne (pictured), a 2013 Springboard student. “I was able to study at my own pace and in my own home. “
Springboard aims to help participants up-skill to restart their career and get back to work. It is a Government-funded initiative, coordinated by the Higher Education Authority, which provides free, part-time, accredited training programmes for those who are currently seeking work.
