Institute of Technology, Sligo is offering over 20 funded postgraduate research degree opportunities in a wide range of disciplines. Funded by a variety of funding agencies, these projects are an exciting addition to the Institute’s vibrant, diverse research community, and will give the successful candidates an excellent platform on which they can base their future career development.

The Institute is as the final stages of an application for designation as a Technological University. The Institute has a number of Bursary and funding available including IT Sligo President’s Bursary Scheme, which provides a stipend of €10,000 and includes a waiver of tuition fees for up to 4 years. The Institute was recently ranked 4th best University in Ireland by U-Multirank, the largest global university ranking.
