Sligo Glass glazing contractors were established as a limited company in 1978 by Frank Carty. With over 40 years of experience in glass & glazing operating across the northwest. Specialising in aluminium windows, doors, and frameless glass balustrades. They offer premium quality glass and window solutions to enhance homes or businesses. They are active in the national retrofit effort, supplying glazing to homes looking to improve their energy performance. 

The Atlantic Technological University Contract Research Unit (ATU CRU) carried out a review of their energy bills and a walk-through energy audit of their factory and fleet of vans. Several recommendations were made where they could reduce their carbon footprint, including recycling waste glass and a move to an electric fleet of vans. An internal LED lighting upgrade was carried out. In addition to reducing electricity costs, a significant improvement in light quality has been observed.

400W highbay HPS were replaced with 200W LEDs highbay and an external wall-mounted 150W HPS Floodlight was replaced with 80W LED Floodlight.
