Students from Brazil will soon be able to apply for a full scholarship to study on a wide range of programmes at the Institute of Technology, Sligo, under a programme funded by the Brazilian Government, Ciência sem Fronteiras or Science Without Borders.
Applications are open on February 18th for undergraduate and postgraduates places in IT Sligo and other higher education institutions in Ireland under the programme.
Commercial and International Manager at IT Sligo, Patrick Lynch, said that IT Sligo would welcome the opportunity to host Brazilian students; “We have a thriving international student community at IT Sligo and it’s our experience that international students really enjoy their experience living and studying in Sligo,” he said. “There are 40 countries represented in our international student community at the moment and the visiting students contribute so much to the vibrancy of the campus.”
Undergraduate students from Brazil can come to Ireland for up to one year of study under the programme, which will include three months English language classes. For more information on the programmes click here.
