Why did you choose ATU Sligo?
A career guidance counsellor advised me that the engineering programmes in ATU Sligo were brilliant. I also had several friends in the university too. It was also close to home which helped with travelling to training.
What advice would you give someone thinking about choosing ATU Sligo?
Join different clubs and societies to meet different people. Make friends with classmates and attend class. Get to know your lecturers
What specifically about your degree did you particularly enjoy?
I really enjoyed the challenges that the modules brought and I also enjoyed the design aspects. I also really enjoyed my final year thesis. It was titled “The thermal management of a CPU”.
