Six tourism students from IT Sligo are assisting in the preparation for the upcoming St. Patrick’s festival in Sligo as
part of their studies of Event Management.
Starting tomorrow and running through to Sunday 18th March, this is the first year a three day festival will feature in Sligo.
Throughout the festival people will be able to enjoy a variety of different performances and traditional Irish entertainment.
The students who have been attending the committee meetings over the past few months have said “We found the experience extremely fulfilling. Working with the committee has been enjoyable and we would like to thank them for giving us this opportunity to work alongside them.”
