A team of Fourth Year Business students who formed the student council of the Marketing Institute of Ireland-North West Region recently organised “Thinking of a career in marketing”. The event was attended by a group of undergraduate and post graduate students. Speakers included, Niall Murray-Regional Manager, Collins McNicholas Recruitment; Aoife Porter, Bua Marketing, Carole Brenan, Senior Development Executive, Enterprise Ireland and Ciaran Kelly, The Landmark Hotel, Carrick-on-Shannon. The speakers spoke about their own career experience and gave excellent advice to the students. Carol Moran Regional Chairperson of the MII made a presentation to the speakers.
